A leading regional bank based in Jordan is looking for an experienced Group Treasurer to join the team and report directly to the Group CEO. The role will manage a direct team of 12 and assume full responsibility for:
Developing the group strategy for treasury in line with the bank's overall strategy, ensuring its implementation after seeking internal approval.
Managing and optimising the banks liquidity within agreed limits, whilst ensuring that the business is adequately funded at all times.
Managing the market risk of the business within agreed limits.
Controlling the derivatives business, execute bond, FX, MM transactions.
Advising internal stakeholders on the consumption and management of liquidity and market risk
Managing a global team effectively to ensure strategy alignment
The main responsibility of this role is to Lead/perform internal audits of Treasury, Market Risk, Liquidity Management, Finance and other audits assigned by GIA Management. Perform/support the audit planning, fieldwork, reporting, maintaining work papers and following up corrective action plans. Review the audit corrective action plans and provide inputs on the status of the same. Support fellow auditors with their daily audit work whenever required.
Experienced and skills required:
Bachelor's degree in commerce, Accounting etc. or equivalent from a recognized institution.
Mandatory Qualifications/Certifications: CIA/CPA/ACCA/ACA.
Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills and high degree of analytical, reasoning skills.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop highly visible applications (Front Arena)
* Design and develop integrations with other trading applications.
* Support the applications that utilize its output e.g. overnight risk/scenarios and Mark-to-Market.
* Provide occasional support for other Front Arena developed applications.
* Actively contribute in gaining application and business knowledge for the development team.
SKILLS:
* Deep understanding of Front Arena and its programming languages: ADFL, ACM. AEL, ASQL and Python.
* Knowledge of Front Arena Architecture and components: ADS, ATS and Service Bus.
* Excellent comms skill
* Experience of interacting with end users in the financial industry.
